Essential Element is a professional, healthcare facilitator.  All clients will be expected to behave in a professional manner.  Specifically, sexual advances will not be tolerated and I reserve the right to terminate the sessions immediately and charge for the full, scheduled appointment.

Please arrive for your appointment having bathed prior and refrain from wearing scented perfumes or oils.

Clients arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be treated and the full cost of the sessions will be charged.

Clients under the age of 18 are accepted as long as they are accompanied by an adult and present for the session.

It is the responsibility of the client to notify the therapist of any health changes that occur following the initial Health History intake.  These changes may affect treatment or require consultation with your primary healthcare physician.

Confidentiality

The North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Practice Act requires your privacy!  I will maintain your confidentiality and all your personal information.  In the event you would like your information shared with another healthcare professional, I will only do so with your written consent, or as required in North Carolina law, by court order.  In North Carolina, I am required to maintain your personal file for four (4) years.
